This illustrated leaf is from a manuscript of Persian poetry depicting Bahram Gur with a princess seated in green and white pavilions. The Persian text is written in columns of Nasta'liq script in black ink. As most Qajar illustrations, the old king is pictured dressed in contemporary of Qajar era.
