These pistols are kept in Nadir Shah's tomb. They were made during Afsharid and Qajar Dynasties. Since Safavid empire, Persians had mastered the art of gun making in order to survive against heavily armed Ottoman empire. Comparing to the European weapons, the Persian guns were some what less sophisticated.
