Chlorite Plaque- Board Game

Found in Kerman, Iran

Chlorite plaque (35 cm) showing an eagle in a heraldic position. It was originally inlaid with turquoise, carnelian and  lapis lazuli. This artifact was perhaps used as one of the oldest board games with dates back to 3500 BC in early bronze age.
